Hi All,
It’s been a long time since I have checked into this blog. I promised just to do quotes at one point, but I guess once I say something, it becomes a quote. Greetings to my Joensuu colleagues who receive this blog as an RSS feed.
Anyway, things are going really well here in Michigan at Finlandia University. I teach a Foundations of Education course, and two technology courses. You can see what kind of things I am doing at the class blogs at:

and
Hancock, MI, is a quirky place that I think I will like very much. After seeing this video below, and if you know me, I think that you will see some kind of fit!

Weird!
Have you already found a substitute for Matti? I mean, someone to beat up on regular basis.

That was a funny video. I have never been to Hancock, MI before, but I just kept thinking that even in the US the Finns found a place that was almost cold enough to feel at home.
Sure, they still miss the same darkness, but if you miss it too much I suppose you can simulate the Finnish winter by just sitting inside of a dark freezer for a few months.
